Kabupaten Sambas (Hanzi: 三發縣 ; Pinyin: Sānfā xiàn, 三發 artinya Sambas dan 縣 yang artinya Kabupaten) adalah salah satu kabupaten di provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Kabupaten Sambas memiliki luas wilayah 6.395,70 km² atau 639.570 ha (4,36% dari luas wilayah Provinsi Kalimantan Barat), merupakan wilayah Kabupaten yang terletak pada bagian pantai barat paling utara dari wilayah provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Panjang pantai ± 128,5 km dan panjang perbatasan negara ± 97 km.[3

To attract more tourists to Indonesia, the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism organised the Wonderful Indonesia Festival in conjunction with ‘Pekan Gawai Naik Dango’ for the first time in Sambas town from June 3rd until 4th.

Located in the Sambas province which is considered the cradle of Dayak culture, the festival showcased an impressive display of local Dayak costumes, graceful yet swift traditional ethnic dance, local handicrafts and delicacies.
