Natural and Cultural Tourism in Landak

Panga'ak Waterfall has three waterfall levels, the first level above has a height of 21 meters, a second level of 10 meters and a third level of 6 meters. Around the waterfall is still overgrown with large trees and shaded with a stretch of rocks that diverse. The uniqueness lies bbehind the second level waterfall: there is still wallet nest that has nest there and lives there. It is Located in the village of  Sungai Durian Desan Antan Rayan in Ngabang District, 44 Km from Ngabang, it takes 1.5 hours to go there  by car or motorcycle .

The Waterfall of  Banangar
Location : The Village of  Perbua in the district of  Air Besar
Transportation  : Car, Motor cycle, water  Motor

and 60 meters high. The uniqueness: under the waterfall  is a lake of approximately 2 Ha with round shape  that can be used for bathing, swimming and fishing fish or shrimp. Standing on the waterfall there is a place that begs fortune to Jubata (God Almighty) which has been done hundreds of years ago until now . Furthermore on the waterfall Banangar there is Mount Pajapa whose forest  is still intact and protected that can be used for rock climbing and flying gantole

this Waterfall can be used for sport Rafting .It is Located in the village of Perbuak Merayuh at the  Air Besar District, 70 Km from Ngabang direction  by car and speedboat / pepet mptor for 3, 5 hours. (Wan)

Riam Jambu

- Location:  the village of Jambu in the district of Air Besar 

- means of transportation: Cars / Motorcycles /  Water Motor

RIAM Jambu has 17 cascades with a length of approximately 2 Km. This location is the most suitable  for medium-level rafting to advanced because  the level of difficulty is quite high.  . Around the waterfall, there are many protected forests that are rich in flora and fauna. Riam Jambu can be used for ecotourism such as fishing and ishrimp. If we want to travel to this place, do not bother, because it is located in the Village of Jambu Tembawang  in the district of Air Besar  which is Located 50 Km from Ngabang,by car and speedboat

Trintink Waterfall-

Location: Engkangin Village in the district of Air Besar  Transportation facilities: Cars / Motorcycles.

The district of Air besar  also has  a waterfall consisting of seven levels , namely  Terintik waterfall which is also  as  interesting as the other waterfalls. Anyone who visits there will certainly feel the natural atmosphere that is  still very natural, for those who are interested please visit for a tour to fill the holiday .

Riam Solakng.-

 Location: Senakin in the district of . Selah Temila-

Riam solang may already be familiar to most people in the province of West Borneo, especially the regency of Landak .  Natural beauty that promises a sense of comfort for visitors, make the cascade solang become the main destination for those who want to relieve fatigue with the daily  activities.

Riam solang is located not far from Senakin Village, the distance is relatively easy to reach. With a distance of approximately 20 minutes by car and walk about 1 hour, the visitors can arrive at the local village's flagship tourism location. The distance is relatively close, visitors can also use four-wheeled vehicles and motorcycles or on foot while enjoying the natural surroundings during the trip. With only capitalize Rp.1000-Rp.2000 the visitors have been able to enter the natural tourist area of the  cascade solang.

The natural beauty that exists in the cascade location of solang presenting the beauty of waterfalls as high as approximately 3 or 4 meters. Besides waterfalls, tangket stone located not far from the location of the waterfall is also one of the treats for the visitors. It is said that according to the stone story, it  has its own story / legend so that just under the stone we can find a place for offerings made by the local residents.

Each year, coinciding with the turn of the new year usually this place is crowded by the visitors.. The number of visitors can reach thousands of people, from various regions, especially young people. So no wonder if every January the 1st every year, the village is always  crowded with passing traffic of the visitors.

Crossroads to get to the cascade area of solang is not far from senakin village. If we are from the direction of Pontianak, then the distance of the intersection with the market is about 100 meters, approximately on the left side of the road or precisely in front of the public cemetery of the local village. In addition to the natural panorama of the cascade solang, there is still one of the natural panorama that exists in the regency of Landak. Riam Pajak Buru, is one of the attractions of natural beauty more or less the same as the natural panorama of the cascade solang. However, the location of Riam Pajak Buru has  no waterfall and only presents the natural beauty and water rocks. The location is not so far from the villageof senakin, precisely in the village of gombang.

To reach that location visitors can use four-wheeled vehicles and motorcycles. But four-wheeled vehicles can not enter this cascade location because the main road after a paved road, visitors must take a path that is just enough for the bikers, different from the location of natural panorama of the cascade solang.

But unfortunately, the panorama of nature cascade soluk and cascade of jajak buru  has not been noticed by the Local Government. Whereas if managed properly, then the area can be one of the promising assets of regional income. In addition, the natural beauty cascade of solang is now beginning to be disturbed with the opening of fields by local villagers, so that the existing natural beauty looks not so original anymore.

Therefore, it is very unfortunate presumably if one of the region's assets owned by this area is not managed properly or even destroyed its authenticity, causing negative impact for the visitors.

Tikalong Waterfall - location  :  the village of Tunang in the district of Mempawah Hulu - Transportation : car/ Motor Cycle Traveling about 3.5 hours from Pontianak with road conditions , most of the roads have been smooth but only about last 4 km  is damaged. If the drive is from Pontianak , it will take 1.5 hours  to Sui Pinyuh by car.. Arriving at the intersection of Singkawang - Mandor (close to the gas station) take the direction to the Mandor and Follow the path approximately 2 hours until arriving at the gate of Tikalong Waterfall . The gate is on the right side of the road after parking the vehicle in the parking area in front of the gate. the Travel is continued by walking  about 5 minutes and go inside until arriving  at the location of the waterfall . For those who bring two-wheeled vehicles can be brought near the location of the waterfall. The Cave of  Sanjan Location: Engkangin Village  in the district of Air Besar transportation: Cars / Motorcycles / Motor Water.On the right side of Banangar water there is a unique cave and another from the caves in West Kalimantan.    this cave  is known  by the name of Goa Sanjan. The uniqueness of this cave is when the visitors must walk down and then squat and stand up  and  before entering the body of the cave, the visitor must be tied with rope with the end tied with the tree or stone outside the cave  so that visitors can re-find the way home because In the cave  there are many aisles or intersections. If we  are not  careful, we can be sure that we will not be able to get back on the road. Meanwhile, in the mouth of the cave, it  can be a place to rest (sleep) while enjoying a fresh natural atmosphere with the water continuing  to drip on the outside wall of the cave.
