Typical Character of Ketapang City


Ketapang city   is one of the second level regions in  the province of West Kalimantan  with the capital of regency in Ketapang city. the anniversary Day of  Ketapang city falls on the 11th of  March,  1418 and it is  598 years old now. Ketapang City is located on the coast and surrounded by Pawan River and Pawan River stream. Ketapang City is known as the City of Ale-ale, Ale-ale is a kind of shell-skinned and soft-shelled species that become the typical food of people in Ketapang City on the coast.
